Designing a portfolio that converts
15 June 2026 · updated 20 June 2026 · #design #portfolio
A strong portfolio page does three things quickly: it says who the person is, proves they’re qualified, and makes the next step obvious.
Lead with a clear hero
The first screen should state the name, the role, and a one-line value proposition — no scrolling required. This template puts a call-to-action button right in the hero for exactly that reason.
Show proof, not just claims
The Education and Qualifications sections exist to back up the hero. Real credentials, dates, and institutions build trust faster than adjectives.
Make contact frictionless
End every page with an obvious way to get in touch. The contact section links straight to email and social profiles.
Swap the placeholder content for the client’s real details and you have a finished site.
